- Great bag for travel!
Reviewer: Karon from Tulsa,, OK - 10/02/2004 09:16:24 For several years I have used a backpack as my carry-on when travelling - and that's a great thing to do. But what I found was that I was just carrying the backpack over one shoulder because it was awkward to put on & remove when travelling through the airport and I needed to get something out of it. That pretty well defeats the purpose of the backpack, which for me, is comfort when carrying a fairly heavy load. I started seeing the sling packs advertised, and thought it seemed that they'd be a great alternative. After visiting stores both in person and online, I decided on the Air Cisco - found the best price here, with free shipping, so ordered. It arrived quickly, was just as described, and to my delight holds almost as much as my much loved backpack. I am not tall (5'4"), and the length of the strap is fine for me. It has room to make it longer for someone taller (it has a strong velcro closure). The bag has a very roomy main compartment, a small compartment at the bottom of the strap which would hold ID, cell phone, or small mp3 player. There is another compartment at the top of the bag which would hold a portable cd player, with a port for earphones. The outside front pocket is roomy, and there's a side mesh pocket for a water bottle, or whatever else you might want to stash there. I'm very pleased with this bag, and my grandson is about to take it away from me! (He's not going to, though; he may be getting his own)
